MEET CRAIG

Creating visually exciting, emotionally engaging, suspenseful-as-hell horror, thriller and action films, filled with nuanced acting fireworks.
Many of my films address social themes with a percentage of profits going to charities related to the project.  ———  Available for hire.

Craig grew up in Denver, Colorado and Dallas, Texas. He graduated with honors from the University of Iowa and studied directing with Judith Weston.

Craig is the writer/director of more than 25 short films, most in the horror, thriller, and action genres. Those short films have over 70,000,000 views online, have played numerous festivals, and won multiple awards. His newest film, "$TRIP", recently won Best Horror Short and Best Makeup FX.

He was a co-producer on the award winning “Ball of Wax”, and director of photography and editor on the feature “I Was A Teenage Wereskunk”, available on Amazon.

When his Mom was diagnosed with Cancer, Craig captured her year-long ordeal on video. The resulting feature documentary, “The Closer She Gets”, played at Slamdance, won best documentary at Zero Film festival, and has been used by hospice care professionals to help families cope with their own cancer journeys.

Craig is also an avid traveler. (50 states, 42 countries and counting). He finds inspiration in the uniqueness of other places, people and cultures. He blogs about it at CraigoTravels.com.
